Hayes Haus Dog Training believes that dog training and behavior modification are very important aspects of any dog's life. These two components will allow you to communicate with you dog through a shared language, both vocal and postural, as well as understand, assess and control/defuse confusing situations because you can see them from a dog's point of view. Once our bases are covered here, we can start giving our dogs the freedom they deserve. If your dog behaves appropriately, he/she is welcome to accompany you wherever you go.
A well behaved dog is a happy dog.
There are two things dogs need from us to form Trust: Love and Respect (from and for us) To create these we must offer the following:

To form leadership we must provide: 1. Protection 2. A clear/fair set of rules 3. Obedience training (A form of communication) 4. Exercise for mind and body
Bond creates Love:
To create a strong bond we must share: 1. Shelter 2. Nourishment 3. Health-care (including grooming) 4. Play
If you are participating in a dog training class at NordOsten Kennel or Hayes Haus Dog Training, please sign a waiver form and provide it to your instructor. If you forget we do provide them at class, so don't fret.
